Sanford and Lake Mary sit in the middle of our service area, so we work Seminole County constantly. The historic district in Sanford has genuinely old oaks, and the newer development through Lake Mary and Heathrow has the fast-grown laurel oaks and pines that come with eighties and nineties builds.
The lakefront properties along Monroe and the smaller Seminole lakes bring their own problem, which is saturated soil under big trees. Lean assessment on a lakefront oak is a different conversation than the same tree on high dry ground.
Downtown Sanford has old, large live oaks on small lots with power lines through them. Careful rigging rather than heavy cutting.
